Two careers, one standard.
I spent a decade, 2012 through 2022, running operations for a network of healthcare providers managing care for thousands of Medicare patients. The results came slowly and steadily, built on patient cohorts, care-gap workflows, and provider scorecards that compounded quietly over the whole decade.
Then I taught myself to ship software. Not as a hobby, but as the same operating discipline applied to a different domain. Nine live applications later, I'm running real revenue, real users, and real iteration loops across consumer apps, health tools, and B2B SaaS. I design, code, deploy, and support every bit of it myself, end to end.
I also wrote Bella's Journey, a children's picture book, which is partly why BetaShelf exists in the first place.
These days I spend as much time teaching the how as doing it: how to take an idea from a blank page to a live, paying app without a team behind you. I'm happy to show how it all works; if that's what you're trying to learn, that's what the class and the mailing list are for. San Antonio-based, building in public.

Want to learn
how to ship?
I teach makers how to take an idea from blank page to live app: the workflow, the tools, the shipping. Join the mailing list for my next class and build-in-public notes.
Beyond the class, I take on a few 1:1 coaching clients and hands-on “build it with you” projects each month. Email me and tell me what you're building.
